We are seeking a strong Maintenance Manager to lead the overall maintenance function within a manufacturing facility. In this role, you will have a direct impact on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, employee development, safety, quality, and overall plant performance.
Direct and oversee all activities of the Maintenance Department.
Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel and subordinate supervisors.
Develop maintenance schedules, assign work, and manage staffing requirements to support plant operations.
Establish and maintain effective Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and equipment/asset care programs.
Analyze equipment downtime, recurring failures, and maintenance issues to identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to improve plant efficiency and equipment reliability.
Provide technical guidance and review maintenance work to ensure projects are completed effectively.
Manage maintenance projects, including cost estimates, proposals, contractor bids, and outside contractor work.
Manage department expenses and budgets while identifying opportunities to control costs.
Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and ordering.
Research and recommend equipment, tools, supplies, and other resources for the Maintenance Department.
Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, expense, and equipment documentation.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
Utilize measurement tools and support technical problem-solving.
Work with 2D and 3D CAD/CAM software.
Support and improve welding processes and equipment conditions to maintain product quality.
Train and develop maintenance personnel in the operation, maintenance, and improvement of robotic production equipment.
Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Quality, Safety, Cost, and Delivery initiatives.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with company safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Assist with administrative and IT-related responsibilities as needed.
Provide occasional support outside normal hours when maintenance issues require attention.
This position provides overall direction and leadership for the Maintenance Department.

The ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field OR approximately 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading and developing maintenance teams.
Strong knowledge of plant maintenance, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance.
Experience analyzing downtime and performing root-cause analysis.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Experience with CAD/CAM, automated manufacturing equipment, and/or robotics is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
Experience managing maintenance projects, budgets, contractors, and spare parts.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with ERP or computerized maintenance systems is a plus.

Occasional on-call responsibilities may be required when maintenance issues arise outside normal operating hours.
This is a manufacturing environment where you will regularly work around industrial machinery, moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, vehicles, oils, vibration, and moderate-to-loud noise levels.
The position may occasionally require working holidays, other shifts, or overtime based on operational needs. Local, national, and international travel may also be required.
