We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader who thrives on improving equipment reliability, developing high-performing maintenance teams, and driving continuous improvement throughout the plant.

In this role, you'll be responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs, managing plant utilities, and partnering with production, engineering, and quality teams to support world‑class manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all maintenance operations for a high-volume automotive manufacturing facility.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Manage the maintenance team by providing leadership, coaching, training, and performance development.
  • Prioritize maintenance activities and schedule work to maximize production uptime and equipment utilization.
  • Respond quickly to critical equipment failures and production downtime, leading effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Oversee the installation, relocation, modification, and removal of manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain and optimize the plant's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including preventative maintenance schedules and maintenance records.
  • Develop and manage spare parts inventories while building strong relationships with key equipment suppliers and service providers.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to identify equipment issues and implement long‑term corrective actions.
  • Manage plant utilities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.
  • Lead safety training, accident prevention initiatives, and maintenance‑related safety programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve equipment performance, maintenance efficiency, and overall plant productivity.
Qualifications:
  • Recent Maintenance Management experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong background in industrial manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting, and maintenance systems.
  • Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS/Maintenance Management software.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical manufacturing equipment.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Quality to resolve equipment and process issues.
