Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the daily maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs to all properties, including oversight and project management of outside repair vendors. The role also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies concerning environment of care and life safety.

Responsibilities

1. Hire and manage maintenance workers.
2. Supervise maintenance workers and contractors.
3. Manage emergency services and systems (exit signs, fire extinguishers, etc.).
4. Set shift schedules and assignments.
5. Develop maintenance policies and procedures.
6. Order tools, supplies, and equipment.
7. Respond to maintenance requests.
8. Maintain preventive maintenance standards for facilities and equipment.
9. Lead safety inspections at worksites.
10. Perform maintenance work as needed.
11. Evaluate worksites to determine necessary maintenance.
12. Escalate issues and recommend solutions to management.
13. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
14. Assist employees with internal moves.
15. Move and lift boxes and equipment as needed.
16. Provide on-call support and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
17. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
18. Oversee inspections of building elements such as elevators, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems.
19. Comply with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time onsite position at our residential treatment center, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
