Job summary

Plant Professionals is seeking a Senior Maintenance & Factory Operations Leader to oversee the Operations and Technical Department, managing a team of 5 mechanics, and driving maintenance excellence.

You will implement preventive and predictive maintenance, lead plant turnarounds, and partner with engineering to maximize uptime and asset reliability while ensuring safety and lean practices.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical leadership in manufacturing, including maintenance/plant engineering leadership.
  • Proven success in plant turnarounds and leading technical teams through change.
  • Strong command of TPM/ Maintenance Excellence programs: Asset Management, FMEA, Breakdown Analysis, Predictive/Preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Operations and Technical Department, supervising a team of 5 mechanics.
  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and plans.
  • Drive plant turnarounds with focus on asset reliability, efficiency, and safety.
  • Allocate resources (equipment, people, systems, materials) to meet targets cost-effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean practices; ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Mentor technical and operations staff and develop future leaders.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process)
