Job summary

Cps4jobs is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee facilities and equipment at our Chicago production plant. You will lead a technician team, maximize equipment uptime, and ensure safety and compliance across operations.

You will manage preventive maintenance, coordinate with contractors, track work orders and KPIs, and control the spare parts inventory while staying within budget and pursuing continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the repair and preventive maintenance of processing machinery, packaging lines, and conveyors to minimize downtime.
• Facility Oversight: Manage plant infrastructure, including refrigeration, utilities, and building structures, while coordinating with external contractors.
• Team Leadership: Guide, train, and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities strictly align with regulatory laws and food safety standards.
• Budget & Inventory: Manage the department budget, track expenses, and control spare parts inventory cost-effectively.
• Data Tracking: Maintain detailed records of work orders, equipment history, and performance metrics.
