RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary function of the Maintenance Manager is to guide and direct a team of maintenance supervisors, engineers, and support personnel involved in repairing and maintaining plant equipment and facilities. The incumbent champions best practices in maintenance and operational excellence to support continuous reliability improvement.

  • Manage the efficient execution of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Apply expert knowledge in proactive maintenance management.
  • Develop, present, recommend, and coordinate training for plant personnel regarding equipment and process reliability.
  • Support the utilization of the Company’s Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System as a key management tool.
  • Prepare budgets and plans for reliability improvement efforts and maintenance expenditures, including sourcing outside resources when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Plant Engineering and other personnel to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Minimum five years' experience in maintenance or engineering management roles (e.g., Plant Engineering Manager, Maintenance Superintendent, or Maintenance Manager for a facility over 150,000 sq. ft.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Completion of one week ammonia refrigeration training with RETA certification or similar.
  • Strong initiative, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse teams and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and mastery of EAMS software.
  • Eligible to obtain CMRP certification within 18 months or possess it already.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

The base pay range is $101,000-$141,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
