LAUKOA seeks a Maintenance Management / PMCS Technical Instructor to deliver PMCS and maintenance-management training at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. The role focuses on vehicle readiness, program execution coaching, and on-site technical support.

Ideal candidates will have Army PMCS/maintenance experience, the ability to teach adults, and familiarity with Army publications, with a strong Microsoft Office skill set to support training products and reports.

Qualifications

Job description

Position Summary

The Maintenance Management / PMCS Technical Instructor serves as a subject-matter expert for preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS), unit maintenance programs, equipment readiness, maintenance discipline, and operator/crew maintenance training.

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach the PMCS Cadre Course and other assigned maintenance-management instruction.
• Support Executive Officer/Platoon Leader maintenance instruction.
• Train appointed PMCS cadre and unit personnel on implementing effective PMCS programs.
• Provide onsite technical assistance involving vehicle and ground-support equipment PMCS.
• Support CMDP-related SAVs and Government-led inspection activities.
• Evaluate maintenance-management processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Coach operators, crews, first-line supervisors, and leaders on PMCS program execution.
• Support weapons and communications/electronics PMCS activities when qualified.
• Cross-train with GCSS-Army Plant Maintenance and Equipment Records/ERPS instructors.
• Prepare or contribute to briefings, trend reports, training records, and other required products.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Army maintenance-management, maintenance-supervision, PMCS, or directly related experience.
• Strong knowledge of PMCS, equipment readiness, maintenance supervision, Army maintenance policy, and applicable technical publications.
• Working knowledge of AR 750-1 and DA Pam 750-8.
• Demonstrated ability to assess maintenance processes and coach units on corrective procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications used for reports, presentations, and training products.

Preferred Qualifications

• GCSS-Army maintenance experience.
• CMDP, SAV, COMET, or inspection-support experience.
• Experience as a maintenance supervisor, maintenance-control NCO/officer, motor sergeant, or comparable Army maintenance leader.
• Graduate of ABIC, FIFC, CTC, or equivalent DoD/TRADOC instructor training.
• AOAP, TMDE, equipment-record, or related maintenance-program experience.
• Active Secret eligibility/clearance.

Security and Installation Access

Active Secret eligibility/clearance is anticipated to be required for onsite personnel at contract start, subject to final Government requirements. The selected candidate must also be able to satisfy installation-access, background-investigation, CAC, and Government information-system access requirements applicable to the position.

Work Location and Schedule

Work will primarily be performed at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.
