Job summary

Middlesex Water Company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across facilities, fleet, and treatment equipment. This role reports to the Director of Production and Maintenance and may assume duties in their absence.

Responsibilities include safety, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure cost-effective maintenance solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in water/wastewater, including 5+ years in management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance for buildings, fleet, equipment, and treatment facilities.
• Lead safety, regulatory compliance, and SOP adherence.
• Manage capex planning, budgeting, and vendor contracts.
• Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly operations and maintenance reports.
