Job summary

Bryten is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and uphold the community’s safety and aesthetics. You will manage service requests, preventive maintenance, and make-ready operations to keep homes ready for occupancy.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge, plus 3+ years in property maintenance supervision and a valid driver’s license. On-call rotations and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry knowledge.
• Experience leading maintenance teams (3+ years).
• EVAP/ CPO certification not required in text; HVAC certs noted.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule maintenance team; ensure safety and customer service.
• Coordinate service requests, preventive maintenance, and repairs; prioritize tasks.
• Oversee make-ready operations and prepare vacant homes.
• Perform and supervise repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and building systems.
• Inspect apartments, common areas, systems, and grounds to identify needs.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and support capital projects.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventories, and work orders.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety policies.
