Job summary

Bryten is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for Los Altos Towers to lead the maintenance team and ensure a safe, attractive, well‑maintained environment for residents and guests.

You will oversee scheduling, preventive maintenance, make-ready operations, and coordinate with vendors while upholding safety and quality standards. This role requires HVAC, plumbing, electrical knowledge and strong leadership with on‑call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of building/facilities/property maintenance experience, with supervisory or lead responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• HVAC certification and/or trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or related fields are required.
• Ability to read diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and support maintenance team while promoting safety and customer service.
• Coordinate service requests, preventive maintenance, and repairs for timely completion.
• Oversee make-ready operations and ensure vacant units are ready for occupancy per standards.
• Perform and supervise repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general systems.
• Inspect apartments, common areas, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for operations and capital projects.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventories, and work orders.
• Support grounds and exterior upkeep and respond to on-call emergencies as required.
