Job summary

Butterball is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team responsible for maintenance and a safe manufacturing environment. You will ensure department performance, provide coaching, handle HR activities, and coordinate with production and quality to meet goals.

The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus a track record in plant reliability and continuous improvement. You will plan budgets, audits, space use, and oversee projects across facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.
• 2+ years of leadership experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or in related field.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team to meet department goals and HR activities.
• Sets team goals aligned with department goals and strategies.
• Designs policies and ensures smooth shift transitions and coordination across shifts.
• Ensures data accuracy in relevant systems and conducts audits.
• Plans budgets, space usage, and facility modifications including cost estimates and layouts.
• Identifies and implements process improvements across maintenance and production.
