WestRock Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead service and maintenance staff, ensuring safe repair or replacement of plant assets and driving continuous improvement of operations.

You will develop maintenance strategies, coach craftsmen, enforce safety standards, manage parts and inventory, and use data to reduce downtime and optimize production.

Formación

• 2-year technical degree in maintenance or related work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of maintenance techniques and equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, motors, gear boxes).
• Safety mindset with thorough understanding of safety policies and procedures.
• Initiative to problem solve and take independent action.
• Great communication with the ability to adjust communication style across all levels of the organization.
• Can-do approach and ability to inspire others to excel.
• Organized with great time management to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for maintenance operations to maximize equipment reliability, plant uptime, and production performance.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve short- and long-term maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and direct maintenance craftsmen to minimize downtime and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Establish and enforce safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across maintenance operations.
• Plan, supervise, and evaluate maintenance work to align with industry best practices and current technologies.
• Monitor KPIs such as safety, reliability, uptime, and cost efficiency to identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee maintenance inventory and storeroom operations to control stock levels and spending within budget targets.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, productivity, and cost reduction using data-driven decisions.
• Foster employee development through leadership, coaching, and performance management.
