Job summary

Swanson Group in Roseburg, Oregon, seeks a Maintenance Director to lead millwright and electrical teams, driving reliability and cost controls aligned with production goals.

You will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, reduce downtime, and collaborate with the Plant Manager to meet safety standards and performance targets. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and lockout/tagout is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience.
• Journeyman level millwright or electrician preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach maintenance team to maximize production.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with plant manager on downtime reduction.
• Ensure 100% run time of plant machinery.
• Maintain safety programs: lockout/tagout and PPE.
