Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a Louisville-based food manufacturing client. The role leads the maintenance team, implements preventive maintenance programs, and focuses on equipment reliability and cost control.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and external vendors to minimize downtime, improve performance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading maintenance teams or departments.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor quotes, contractors, and equipment-related projects.
• PLC and industrial controls knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage the plant maintenance team.
• Develop, manage, and maintain PM schedules for production machinery and facility equipment.
• Ensure PMs are completed on schedule and identify reliability improvements.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Manage maintenance work orders, priorities, and planned activities.
• Review and approve timesheets, overtime, scheduling, and labor allocation.
• Develop and manage the maintenance department budget and manage vendor quotes.
