Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to serve as the technical SME on a shift, specializing in preventive/predictive maintenance of material handling equipment and electrical systems. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, validate work, and train technicians while coordinating with other teams to ensure high equipment availability.

You will operate Burlington-owned vehicles, travel to facilities for parts, and support root-cause analysis to fix systemic issues.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance in a distribution center environment.
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver's license.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance, PLCs, industrial networks, NEC and MHE safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical/mechanical aspects of MHE, conveyors, sortation, robotics, AS/RS.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, field buses, and control components to diagnose failures.
• Develop work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets.
• Operate Burlington-owned vehicles for maintenance and parts sourcing.
• Lead safety procedures, PPE usage, and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Provide technical training to technicians and trainees on shift.
