Job summary

Monroe Springs Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Monroe, MI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech to lead the maintenance operations of the facility. You will ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Healthcare Setting or Long-Term Care setting.
• Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code requirements and healthcare facility regulations.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to troubleshoot building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all maintenance operations for the facility
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and life safety regulations
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and documentation
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, emergency power, and building systems
• Maintain survey readiness and support state and federal inspections
• Coordinate vendor services and contractor activities
• Manage maintenance budgets, supplies, and inventory
• Respond to facility emergencies and after-hours maintenance issues as needed
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team members
• Partner with department leaders to support resident care and facility operations
