Job summary

Publix Super Markets in the United States is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment across Bakery, Produce, Meat, Deli, and common areas. Responsibilities include evaluating and repairing Retail equipment and supporting new stores, remodels, and PAD programs.

The role requires 3 years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in using mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and diagnosis of food preparation equipment.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to travel to stores throughout the retail division as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair Retail equipment.
• Provide support to New stores, Remodels and PAD Programs for Publix.
• Handle housekeeping tasks including vehicle inventory and related paperwork.
