Qualifications

• 7+ years of maintenance, facility operations, or related experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in distribution, warehouse, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Relevant technical certifications may be required.
• Advanced education may offset some experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance, repair, and installation of facility equipment to ensure uninterrupted distribution center operations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, facility infrastructure, and operational systems to support efficiency and productivity.
• Evaluate maintenance, production, and quality reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Source, evaluate, and manage contractor bids for facility repairs and maintenance projects.
• Select and oversee external contractors, ensuring compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and project expectations.
• Manage maintenance resources and expenses to support operational and financial objectives.
• Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring adherence to company policies and operational standards.
• Conduct facility and equipment inspections to identify potential hazards and maintenance needs.
• Support distribution center safety, physical security, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance associates to build a high-performing team.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback, technical training, and professional development opportunities.
