Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Garland, Texas seeks a maintenance technician supervisor to lead assigned maintenance areas, oversee PMs and PdM programs, and ensure reliable production across three shifts. You will coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing and Electrical Engineering to implement solutions that improve equipment uptime and safety.

The role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and control systems, commissioning repairs, and using the EAM system for work orders and parts

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction and support for assigned areas to maintenance technicians
• Attend assigned Tier meetings; be single point of contact for assigned Value Stream
• Accountability for PM’s, PdM, RCCA’s, Autonomous Maintenance support, projects and maintenance work in assigned Value Stream
• Manage formal shift to shift hand-over program and communications
• Efficiently operate, troubleshoot, provide installation and maintenance services to standard and special facility equipment to control downtime costs
• Troubleshoot, repair or direct the maintenance of all mechanical functions, drives, hydraulics and pneumatic systems
• Utilize EAM for all work orders, part investigation, asset history, downtime recording and labor/cost reporting
• Complete preventative maintenance and PdM tasks as scheduled, document finished work
• Coordinate project work between different trades and mentor technicians
• Provide Safety Leadership and ensure compliance with code and license requirements
