Job summary

Andersen Windows, Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Garland, TX. The role focuses on leading maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement across the value stream.

You will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, coordinate with engineering and quality teams, and mentor technicians while maintaining safety and downtime reduction goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supporting maintenance teams across multiple shifts.
• Ability to deploy PM and PdM programs and track via metrics.
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction and support for maintenance technicians.
• Attend Tier meetings; serve as single point of contact for the Value Stream.
• Manage PMs, PdM, RCCAs, AM support and maintenance projects.
• Lead training for associates across 3 shifts and ensure safe operations.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Quality, Electrical Engineering and Manufacturing to improve reliability.
• Utilize EAM for work orders, asset history and cost reporting.
• Order parts and manage inventory for critical equipment.
• Oversee machine installation, fabrication, and fixturing as needed.
• Schedule with maintenance planner and communicate changes.
