Job summary

Amsted Rail Company Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance planning and execution for production machinery. You will lead Multi-crafts, Electricians and Mechanics, ensuring maximum uptime and TPM-aligned maintenance programs.

Strong CMMS, SAP, CAD, SQL and MS Office skills are required. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 3–5 years of supervisory maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in maintenance management/supervision; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with CMMS, SAP, CAD, SQL and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains proactive maintenance practices.
• Plans, schedules and coordinates manpower for department maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Determines root cause of equipment failures and implements solutions to eliminate downtime.
• Works with vendors and contractors on maintenance projects.
• Updates PMs and maintains PM effectiveness.
