Job summary

Cartamundi East Longmeadow Llc is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance across a multi-shift operation at the East Longmeadow site. You will drive TPM initiatives, manage the maintenance budget, staff, and spare parts while coordinating with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Safety.

The role requires extensive union environment experience, SAP maintenance proficiency, and proactive leadership to ensure safe, reliable production and on-time

Qualifications

• Eight years of industrial plant maintenance experience with at least five years in industrial management in a fast-paced union environment.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance processes.
• Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, organized and results oriented with a high commitment to the business.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Maintenance Department in multi-shift operation.
• Manage tooling and spare parts inventories.
• Expedite non-stock parts to maintain equipment.
• Schedule and track material handling equipment repair.
• Execute new equipment installation and processes.
• Manage site shutdowns and coordinate activities.
• Maintain SAP (Maintenance Management) configuration and use.
• Collaborate with Facility Engineering on projects.
• Conduct safety observations, inspections and meetings.
• Lead TPM teams across the site.
• Support Kaizen events cross-functionally.
