Join to apply for the Maintenance Lead - Off Shift role at Centor.

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Lead to oversee our maintenance team and ensure smooth operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and collaborating with Maintenance Expeditors, you'll lead a team of about 10 hourly employees. Your primary responsibilities include maintaining equipment safety and efficiency, resolving issues promptly, and fostering teamwork.

This role involves troubleshooting, repairing production and plant systems, performing preventative maintenance, and adhering to safety and Centor standards. It requires leadership, technical expertise, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians.
• Maintain production equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs per PM schedules.
• Manage work orders using SAP and report with Mattec.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Follow safety policies and promote good manufacturing practices.
• Create and update work instructions and provide training.
• Operate a forklift (valid license required).
• Work from sketches, blueprints, or verbal instructions.
• Lifting up to 40 lbs alone or 80 lbs with assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Supervisory Profile Index.
• Experience in team leadership and production environments.
• Strong communication and team-first attitude.
• Basic computer skills, including SAP.
• Knowledge of safety and first aid.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing.
• Basic math and machine knowledge.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting at $36.25/hr.
• Additional $2.00/hr shift premium for afternoon and midnight shifts.
