What You’ll Be Doing:
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Lead to help guide our maintenance team and keep things running smoothly. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working closely with the Maintenance Expeditors, you'll be leading a team of about 10 hourly employees. Your main job? Make sure equipment is running safely and efficiently, problems get solved quickly, and everyone is working together as a team.
You'll be troubleshooting, repairing production and plant systems, performing preventative maintenance, and making sure everything is done safely and up to Centor standards. This role combines leadership, technical skills, and solid communication.
Leading and supporting a team of maintenance techs.
Helping keep production equipment running efficiently and safely.
Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Doing routine maintenance and repairs based on PM schedules.
Using SAP to manage work orders and Mattec for reporting.
Communicating clearly with coworkers and other departments.
Coaching and mentoring team members.
Following and promoting Centor’s policies, safety rules, and good manufacturing practices.
Writing, updating, and training on work instructions when needed.
Operating a forklift (valid license required).
Working from sketches, blueprints, or just a good verbal explanation.
Lifting up to 40 lbs alone or 80 lbs with a partner.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completed the Supervisory Profile Index.
Experience leading a team and working in a production environment.
A team-first attitude and great communication skills.
Basic computer skills, including SAP.
Safety and first aid awareness.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
Basic math and machine knowledge.
Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Starting Rate:$36.25/hr,
Shift Premium:Additional $2.00/hr for afternoon and midnight shifts
