Job summary

French's is seeking a full-time Electromechanical Reliability Mechanic at our Springfield, MO plant. You’ll report to the Maintenance Manager and spend your shift safeguarding equipment health, minimizing downtime, and coaching teammates on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing rebuilds, leading root-cause analyses, interpreting schematics, and ensuring GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication across departments; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including basic PLC/HMI interactions.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production and facility systems; rebuilds and adjustments.
• Lead root-cause failure analyses and implement permanent countermeasures.
• Interpret schematics, blueprints, and OEM manuals to resolve issues.
