Job summary

The Siegel Group is seeking a Maintenance Level 1 professional for Siegel Select Gautier, Gautier, Mississippi. The role handles daily maintenance tasks to turn units, coordinates work orders, and performs monthly preventive maintenance under supervision of the Property Manager.

The candidate will have 5+ years of maintenance experience, supervisory exposure, and hold HVAC/plumbing/electrical certifications. Tools must be owned, with ability to work nights and weekends and ensure OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing or electrical certification required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a maintenance engineer.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
• Must own maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance to turn units and handle work orders.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance on all units.
• Supervise and train maintenance assistants.
• Coordinate with property manager to ensure timely vendor services.
• Verify room readiness and availability to rent.
• Schedule/perform outside maintenance on property and units.
• Be on-call for tenant emergencies.
• Maintain OSHA compliance in maintenance areas.
