Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical degree preferred.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience performing maintenance on mechanical equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electricity required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside maintenance staff.
• Fabricate/modify and troubleshoot packaging machinery, tools and equipment.
• Oversee projects and address problems.
• Review job orders to determine work priorities.
• Schedule repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with standards.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts and perform repairs.
• Repair and maintain operation condition of production machinery and equipment.
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
• Reassemble equipment after inspection or repair.
• Observe machinery operation to diagnose malfunctions using testing devices.
• Analyze test results and machine error messages to diagnose problems.
• Clean, lubricate and adjust parts and equipment.
• Plan and perform work requiring knowledge of electrical theory and codes.
