Job summary

You will assist in inspecting, testing, and repairing machinery, and help prepare work areas and tools for mechanics and technicians. The role requires basic technical knowledge, the ability to use hand and power tools, and physical capacity to handle lifting and movement of equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability for routine maintenance.
• Knowledge of general facility maintenance operations.
• Able to compute rates, ratios and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test machinery and components for defects.
• Assist in maintenance, part replacement and repairs.
• Prepare work areas and tools for mechanics and technicians.
• Perform minor repairs to walls, floors or fixtures as needed.
• Move tools and materials between work sites.
