Job summary

NOW Health Group INC in Sparks, NV is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production and maintenance projects under the Maintenance Supervisor. You will assign jobs, monitor progress, and ensure equipment reliability.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining high-speed packaging machinery, performing PMs, documenting work, mentoring junior mechanics, and contributing to safety and GMP compliance. Willingness to travel to other facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two to five years related experience in electrical, machine troubleshooting, pneumatics or hydraulics.
• General knowledge of electric, welding and machine shop required. Food/pharma experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, assigns jobs and tasks and monitors progress of projects.
• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots complex processing and high-speed packaging machinery.
• Performs PM and repair work and tracks PM activities.
• Documents work using CMSS and paper forms; initiates purchase orders for parts.
• Trains and mentors junior maintenance staff; contributes to continuous improvement.
