Job summary

JBS is seeking an hourly Maintenance Lead 1st Shift Team Member who will direct the maintenance team in all maintenance aspects of assigned work areas. The role requires coaching, scheduling, and ensuring production efficiency while enforcing company policies.

Responsibilities include leading technicians in troubleshooting, installations, and preventive maintenance programs, with long hours and weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, PLC and HVAC experience.
• AAS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train hourly Maintenance employees with scheduling and guidance.
• Direct maintenance for equipment installs, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and safety policies.
• Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
