Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an hourly Maintenance Lead for 1st shift to direct the maintenance team in all aspects of assigned work areas. You will schedule, prepare lines, and support production execution while coaching staff and enforcing company policies.

The role requires strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, HVAC, and mechanical experience, with a High School diploma and 4+ years in industrial maintenance. Occasional long hours and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial, PLC and HVAC experience.
• AAS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Motivate a diverse workforce and lead by example, with coaching and disciplinary abilities.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; good communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a lead by training, mentoring, scheduling, and guiding hourly Maintenance employees.
• Provides leadership through communication and coaching; supports maintenance technicians.
• Ensures policies are followed and environment is respectful.
• Leads and coordinates troubleshooting and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, electric equipment, PLC and process controls.
• Plans and executes preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Oversees equipment installations and proper alignment/ leveling; follows GMP and safety rules.
