Job summary

RS Utility Structures Inc is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to provide day‑to‑day technical leadership for a manufacturing maintenance team. You will lead complex maintenance work, coordinate daily priorities, and support troubleshooting to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

The role requires 6+ years in industrial maintenance with hands‑on guidance of technicians, strong knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with 2–4+ years in leading or coordinating activities.
• Advanced troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of pumps, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and welding.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities to support safe and efficient production.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex equipment repairs.
• Coordinate work assignments and prioritize maintenance requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Mentor and train maintenance technicians across progression levels.
• Ensure work complies with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Support work order execution and documentation in the CMMS.
• Communicate equipment status with production and engineering teams.
• Promote safety culture and LOTO practices.
