Job summary

The Hershey Company is hiring a Maintenance Lead in Edgerton, KS. This hourly role reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports the production line by coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, assembling equipment, and troubleshooting production systems.

Leading a shift, you will train and supervise maintenance staff, handle safety adherence, and ensure on-time completion of work orders while maintaining quality and efficiency in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read manuals/blueprints and guide repairs.
• Experience with ERP systems and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and coordinate with production in absence of Manager.
• Train and monitor maintenance staff to follow GMP and safety guidelines.
• Lead corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on schedule.
• Direct maintenance team and review daily reports and paperwork.
• Coordinate with external contractors as needed.
• Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs to keep production running.
• Ensure safety procedures and OSHA/GMP compliance.
