Job summary

The Hershey Company in Edgerton, KS is seeking a Maintenance Technician for C shift to maintain production equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in a food manufacturing environment.

You will work indoors/outdoors as needed, follow SQF and safety standards, supervise outside contractors as required, and participate in continuous improvement with PM procedures.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Familiar with SQF, FDA, and OSHA requirements.
• 4 years machine maintenance experience.
• 2 years Fanuc robot experience.
• Ability to Mig and/or Tig Weld and/or Industrial electrician (480V systems).

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate maintenance records.
• Installation of new production machinery.
• Perform daily, preventative, and predictive maintenance with focus on food safety and reducing equipment failures.
• Troubleshoots machines and line control schemes and communicates repairs to production and maintenance teams.
• Supervises outside contractors and contributes to PM procedure improvements.
