Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking an Analyst Maintenance Planner at the Edgerton, KS plant to coordinate maintenance, calibration, and repairs of manufacturing systems. You will own preventive maintenance routes, analyze equipment data, and collaborate with operators and technicians to improve reliability and performance.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in maintenance planning and a engineering-focused degree, with strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in maintenance planning, industrial maintenance, equipment reliability, or related area.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Asset Reliability, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred; equal education/experience considered.
• Ability to interpret maintenance information, select approved methods, and use data to support technical decisions.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, inspections, calibration, repair practices, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and complete assigned maintenance, repair, calibration, and equipment-support work using approved tools, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Own recurring preventive maintenance routes, inspections, or related work cycles, ensuring results meet established quality and performance requirements.
• Gather and analyze equipment data, apply structured troubleshooting methods, resolve moderately complex issues within established authority, and elevate when needed.
• Support small technical and continuous-improvement initiatives by completing assigned tasks, validating changes, and documenting outcomes.
• Maintain clear work documentation and communicate technical findings, risks, and observations to peers and leaders to support planning and corrective action.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and other plant partners to coordinate work and support reliable manufacturing operations.
