Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a maintenance professional to coordinate daily repair activities and ensure equipment operates efficiently. You will troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analyses, and manage CMMS work orders to support production.

The role requires a high school diploma with an accredited apprenticeship, 5+ years of maintenance experience, and knowledge of electrical safety and environmental regulations. A 12-hour B shift is typical, with PPE and safety expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus an accredited apprenticeship program.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate daily maintenance repair activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analyses.
• Create, revise, and manage work orders in CMMS; plan preventative maintenance.
• Interface with production to communicate problems and coordinate resources.
• Assist in planning training for maintenance technicians; procure parts as needed.
• Track key maintenance metrics such as OEE and MTBF; support engineering projects.
