Qualifications

• 5+ years in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance role.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including familiarity with electrical systems and PLCs.
• Effective communication skills in English with basic math abilities.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on production equipment following all safety procedures.
• Inspect guards and safety devices before returning equipment to service.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and quality-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings to diagnose issues.
• Complete breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment changeovers to support production goals.
• Monitor parts, tools, and supply inventory levels and coordinate ordering and receipt verification.
• Use maintenance management systems to document inspections, repairs, and equipment status.
• Observe mechanical devices in operation and use precision measuring instruments to identify issues.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools when necessary.
• Operate powered industrial trucks, overhead cranes, and portable cranes safely.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in problem-solving efforts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by complying with safety regulations.
