Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Group Leader for a top manufacturing client. This role leads a team of maintenance technicians to support plant operations by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with CNC machinery and Fanuc robots, along with leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive preventative maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and Fanuc robots.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts within maintenance.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with controls and industrial automation.
• Experience supervising UAW employees.
• Automotive OEM background is a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance team to support plant operations and equipment reliability.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facility systems.
• Perform and supervise equipment checks, testing, and evaluation of results.
• Diagnose malfunctions and implement solutions.
• Ensure completion of preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain production schedules and uphold quality standards.
• Enforce compliance with labor agreements and company policies.
• Promote safety standards and housekeeping practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams beyond the immediate workgroup.
• Optimize use of personnel, materials, and equipment.
