Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer to oversee projects and support the implementation of new equipment, automation, and production processes within the plant. You will collaborate with engineering and automation teams from design through installation, launch, and handoff to production, becoming the plant’s resident expert on new equipment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with heavy industrial robotics, troubleshooting production equipment, and driving

Qualifications

5+ years in automotive or manufacturing maintenance (stamping, injection molding, welding, machining)
Strong hands-on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance background
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and troubleshooting
Experience with capital equipment projects, installation, and contractor coordination
Experience with process design and process improvement
Experience identifying waste and improving manufacturing efficiency
Basic Excel skills

Responsibilities

Oversee manufacturing projects and new equipment implementation
Collaborate with engineering and automation from design through handoff to production
Train plant staff on operation of new equipment
Drive safety, quality, efficiency, and equipment performance improvements
