Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Maintenance Group Leader to guide a team of maintenance technicians in supporting plant operations. You will drive preventive maintenance, troubleshoot CNC machinery and Fanuc robots, and ensure safety standards while maintaining production efficiency.

Lead a fast-paced manufacturing operation, manage schedules, and collaborate across functions to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and Fanuc robots.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts within maintenance.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

This individual will lead a team of maintenance technicians in supporting plant operations by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. The role requires hands-on expertise with CNC machinery and robotics, combined with leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will drive preventative maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain production efficiency and safety standards.

Day-to-Day:

• Manage a small to medium-sized team of maintenance employees
• Oversee maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facility systems
• Perform and oversee equipment checks, testing, and evaluation of results
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend solutions
• Ensure completion of preventative maintenance activities
• Maintain production schedules and uphold quality standards

Pay Range: $35-41/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment - especially skilled trades
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, specifically CNC machinery and Fanuc robots
• Knowledge of mechanical AND electrical concepts within maintenance
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
