Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician/Manager in Shelby Township, MI to keep CNC machines and shop equipment running at peak efficiency.

You will own preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and software issues, and work with setup personnel to minimize downtime. The role requires a technical degree or cert, CNC experience with Fanuc/Siemens controls, and adeptness at reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• Maintenance and repair experience on CNC lathes, mills, grinders, hydraulic broaches and saws.
• Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc and Siemens.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience maintaining overhead cranes, forklifts and other shop equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust CNC machines to run efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and software-related problems.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and repair costs.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs and parts used.
• Order and stock machine parts to minimize downtime.
• Partner with operators and setup personnel to identify and solve machine issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain forklift and overhead crane.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including LOTO.
