LUV Car Wash was founded in September 2021 and has rapidly expanded to over 70 locations across 6 states: CA, NV, FL, GA, PA, and NJ. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Maintenance Lead for our car wash locations. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our express car wash facilities. The Site Maintenance Lead will report directly to the General Manager and collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of equipment functionality and customer service. Successful candidates will follow a career path within LUV’s Facilities Maintenance Department.

General Summary of Duties

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our car wash locations. The role involves reporting to the General Manager and working with the team to uphold equipment performance and customer satisfaction. This position offers a career progression within LUV’s Facilities Maintenance Department.

Reports to: General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Essential Functions

• Perform weekly and monthly preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Carry out repairs and coordinate with external technicians for complex issues.
• Participate in Sonny's College Repair and Maintenance courses and apply learned skills.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and preventive tasks.
• Monitor equipment inventory and report shortages or needs.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Suggest equipment upgrades or process improvements.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, including safely loading vehicles onto the conveyor and cleaning equipment and tunnels.

Requirements

Physical Demands

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and carry.
