This is a seasonal job opportunity with the City of Concord Public Works Department, working in the Parks Division to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the City's parks for residents' enjoyment. The position is open and continuous, with the potential to fill future part-time, limited-term vacancies for up to one year.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform litter/trash pick-up, restroom cleaning, general maintenance, and leaf/debris removal in parks and other city areas.
• Assist with basic grounds-keeping and public works maintenance activities.
• Perform data entry related to parks assets and work order management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience in park clean-up, landscaping, or similar work.
• Valid California driver’s license (Class A, B, or C) with a clean driving record for the past seven years.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to develop effective working relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Willingness to undergo background checks, including DOJ live scan and medical evaluation.
