The Town of Concord seeks a temporary Water & Sewer Laborer to assist in various water and wastewater operations. Water & Sewer Laborer - Temporary
Are you looking for a rewarding job where you can see the impact of your work? Concord Public Works - Water & Sewer Division is seeking a temporary Water & Sewer Laborer to join our team. Concord is a progressive, customer-focused municipality, and we take pride in providing a safe and reliable water supply, as well as wastewater collection and treatment for residential, commercial and institutional users. In this position, you will be trained and tasked to assist in all aspects of water and wastewater operations including installation, repair and maintenance of water and sewer mains, services, pumping and treatment systems and related structures, while supporting related emergency operations including plowing for snow during winter storms.
Base work schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Full pay range: $25.50 - $30.00 per hour. Starting salary is based on qualifications.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general direction of the Concord Public Works – Water & Sewer Superintendent, performs manual labor doing a wide variety of semiskilled operations and construction tasks including repair and maintenance of water mains, water services, hydrants and all other water utility appurtenances, repair and maintenance of sewer lines and systems, inspection and routine service of water and wastewater pumping facilities and general landscaping duties associated with public works operations, including operating basic outdoor equipment and vehicles.
