Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in Michigan seeks a Maintenance and Inventory Manager to lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and the control of chemicals, expendables, and spare parts at the site. You will supervise maintenance employees and contractors, coordinate with Operations to receive chemicals, and drive purchasing, goods receipt, and budgets using the CMMS and inventory software.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher (two-year college or technical school).
• Minimum 4-years of maintenance and/or project execution experience, preferably in Chemical Manufacturing.
• At least one-year supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and Inventory Management Software.

Responsibilities

• Manage Maintenance Employees/Contractors and all aspects of repair/preventative maintenance.
• Support plant operations by providing maintenance planning and scheduling to make effective use of resources.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed on time and on budget.
• Manage all aspects of purchasing, receiving, warehousing and inventory of chemicals, expendables and spare parts.
• Plan, Schedule, and Execute Maintenance (PM and Daily) Activities.
• Work with Purchasing to issue Purchase Orders, perform goods receipt and track budgets.
