Banknote-Corp-of-America is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage stock levels, execute cycle counts, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. The role requires strong attention to detail and proficient use of inventory software and Microsoft Office.

You will analyze inventory data to forecast demand, maintain thorough documentation, and work with maintenance and purchasing teams to keep operations running smoothly. This position is full-time and on-site.

Formación

  • High school diploma required; education in supply chain/logistics beneficial.
  • Experience in inventory or supply chain management preferred; familiarity with inventory software a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration with suppliers and teams.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Knowledge of FIFO and JIT inventory concepts is helpful.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, ordering new supplies, and monitoring usage rates.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory items, negotiate pricing and terms, and resolve any issues related to supply chain management.
  • Inventory Control: Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste, loss, and theft. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions regarding inventory levels and ordering quantities.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments. Maintain documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, operations, and purchasing to coordinate inventory needs and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining equipment and tools related to inventory management, such as barcode scanners, storage systems, and inventory software.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional education in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with inventory software and data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying discrepancies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaborating with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, implement solutions, and prevent inventory-related problems.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to achieving departmental goals.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for data analysis and forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on inventory data and company policies.
  • Familiarity with inventory management techniques such as FIFO (First In, First Out) and JIT (Just In Time) inventory control.
