Job summary

Interfor in Bay Springs, Mississippi is seeking a Maintenance Intern for a hands-on summer learning experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Start date in May 2027 for a 4–8 month term, on-site.

You’ll work with experienced maintenance and operations professionals to build practical skills and tackle real-world challenges. You’ll gain insights into equipment reliability, process improvements, and operational performance while using Excel, Word, and Outlook to document and collaborate

Qualifications

• Working toward a degree or diploma in an industry-related program (forestry, supply chain, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering).
• Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Clear communication and collaboration with team and other departments.
• Interested in hands-on work in an industrial setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
