Job summary

TAD PGS, Inc. invites applications for an Maintenance Helper position in the Washington, DC area. This entry-level role supports building maintenance tasks, prepares work areas, and assists with basic repairs, painting, patching and carpentry support to keep facilities in good condition.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and a strong work ethic. Prior maintenance experience is valued but not required, and safety is emphasized across all activities.

• Previous hands-on maintenance, construction, or related work is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

We have an outstanding Contract position for aMaintenance Helper to join a leading Company located in theWashington, DCsurrounding area.

Pay Rate: $20 to $30 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support building maintenance and repair tasks: material handling, job site prep and cleanup, simple repairs, patching, painting, ceiling tile replacement, carpentry support, small project assistance, and building protection.

• Assist with the use of basic hand tools and portable power tools as needed.

• Collaborate with maintenance and skilled trades teams to deliver quality service and ensure safety standards.

• Help organize supplies, prepare work areas, and perform basic troubleshooting for facility issues. Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Previous hands-on maintenance, construction, or related work is a plus but not required-willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Commitment to safety, teamwork, service, integrity, and a positive outlook.

• Ready to tackle challenges, propose solutions, and complete tasks efficiently.

• Comfortable working with team members, supervisors, and site contacts.
