Job summary

Randstad USA in Redlands, CA seeks a DC Area Maintenance Manager to drive reliability across multiple shifts, lead a team of technicians, and minimize downtime while upholding safety and building integrity. You will partner with DC leaders to prioritize critical work and ensure maintenance is performed right and on time.

This hands-on leadership role demands strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school is preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance and supervision experience.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures.
• Maintenance and repairs of conveyors, motor controls, and MHE is highly valued.
• Analytical skills to gather and interpret data and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent management, leadership, communication, organizational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the repair and maintenance of equipment; assigns work orders, ensuring safety and production-related work orders are the highest priority.
• Manages preventive maintenance programs and ensures schedule is adhered to minimizing downtime.
• Establishes methods and procedures for departmental work activities; identifies and resolves operational problems; communicates expertise and approvals.
• Supervises, interviews, orients, trains, evaluates, and develops Maintenance associates across multiple shifts.
• Oversees and ensures building, grounds and equipment are cleaned and maintained to maintain machinery and physical plant.
• Supervises and oversees the facility’s waste disposal program; ensures waste is disposed of according to appropriate regulations.
• Interacts with DC management to ensure maintenance needs are met; tours facilities to assess condition.

You’ll Come With

Responsibilities

A Day In The Life

• Oversees the repair and maintenance of equipment; assigns work orders, ensuring safety and production-related work orders are the highest priority. Assists maintenance associates with diagnosis and repairs when necessary.
• Manages preventive maintenance programs and ensures schedule is adhered to minimizing downtime.
• Establishes methods and procedures for departmental work activities; identifies and resolves operational problems; and communicates expertise and approval concerning departmental activities.
• Supervises, interviews, orients, trains, evaluates, and develops Maintenance associates across multiple shifts.
• Oversees and ensures building, grounds and equipment are cleaned and maintained to maintain machinery and physical plan.
• Supervises and oversees the facility’s waste disposal program; ensures waste is disposed of according to appropriate regulations.
• Interacts with DC management to ensure maintenance needs are met. Touring facilities to ensure the condition of the facilities is maintained.

The essential functions of this role include
