Job summary

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Group Lead in Romeoville, IL to oversee safe maintenance, repair and efficiency of all equipment when the supervisor is off duty. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate PMs, manage parts inventories and ensure compliance with safety and QA policies.

Requires 5 years in industrial maintenance, knowledge of GMP/OSHA, and strong coordination with production and QA teams.

Qualifications

• HS degree or GED is required.
• 3 years of experience in a food-processing, pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing organization.
• 5 years of industrial mechanic experience with lift equipment and moving heavy equipment.
• Experience applying qualifications in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, food allergens and pest control.

Responsibilities

• Assigns daily maintenance activities to shift mechanics and prioritizes tasks as needed.
• Supervises maintenance team to meet production needs during the shift.
• Ensures maintenance program compliance and safety standards across equipment.
• Manages spare parts inventories and approves purchases up to $750 without supervisor approval.
• Maintains PM schedules and CAMS entries; documents reports for audits.
• Communicates with production leads and other departments to coordinate maintenance work.
